"This is a fantastic resource for both clinicians and clients. I am so often looking for a resource to recommend to clients with relevant and specific tools outlined for body image. As a clinician in the ED field I have taken several trainings on body image that were pretty costly (albeit great) and I feel like this journal is something that I could have used years ago to support the work I do with clients! This is also a great resource for clients to learn about different skills and why they are helpful. There is a so much useful information in this journal and it’s laid out in a format that allows it to not feel overwhelming and is surprisingly easy to follow! Definitely recommend, it’s worth the purchase."
"This is such an incredible resource for folks navigating body image struggles and/or clinicians looking for resources to help clients. It is clear that the author put so much time and effort into creating a resource that is truly comprehensive and chock full of digestible information and actionable tasks. As an eating disorder provider, I struggle to find body image resources that are not rooted in diet culture and weight stigma. This workbook helps people explore their bodies, relationship with food, and relationship with movement in a way that is inclusive and accessible. I will absolutely be recommending this to the people I work with!"
"This workbook is such a refreshing antidote to the typical diet culture infused / fat phobic health books out there. It SO comprehensive and packed with helpful concepts, information, prompts, and exercises that make healing a fraught relationship with food/body so much more accessible. As an eating disorder dietitian, I can also see so much of this workbook being useful for my clients, and I'm excited to share it with them. I also LOVE the design / layout of the book! There was clearly tremendous thought, care, and love put into this workbook. Highly recommend."
"As a fellow eating disorder dietitian, I can say this is a great body image resource! There's so much information and it's really visually appealing for those that don't want to read a full book on body image. I love that Jamie took the time to explore so many approaches to body image - therapy modalities, food, movement, coping skills, and much more. This is a resource that I will be recommending for my clients independently and it would also be a great tool to work through with your dietitian."
"As an eating disorder dietitian, there are SO few body image workbooks I actually like to recommend for clients. Most are triggering, fatphobic, or just have lots of redundant material. Jamie manages to cover a ton of material in this workbook, which is perfect for someone who is really into journaling and highly motivated to unpack their relationship with food and their body. I really like that she's created a very inclusive workbook, and that there are tools and exercises in here that will be supportive for a wide range of people. Fantastic resource!"
